involves moving your own hair from areas of greater to lesser
density to restore lost hair. A
strip of hair is removed from the back of the scalp, separated
into individual clusters of hair and then transferred
to the desired areas. It
is usually done under local anesthesia It
is done at our center and it is an out-patient procedure It
depends upon the severity of baldness but usually it takes
2-4 hours for the procedure to be done. Recovery
period for this procedure is 7-10 days.
