Chemical Peel / Skin Peel It
is the use of varying types and concentrations of chemical
substances that are used to improve skin texture,
pigmentation, and to decrease lines. It
is the removal of the top layer of the skin in which the skin
heals does reforming collagen that has thicker
and better vascularization. The
skin is cleaned, peeling chemical is systematically applied,
ointment may be applied post-procedure. It
is done at our center and it is an out-patient procedure. It
usually takes 5 - 10 minutes depending on the extent of area
to be treated. Recovery
period for this procedure is from 7 - 10 days.
