About Breast Augmentation
Medical Term: “Augmentation Mammoplasty”
It is the enhancement of the breast by placing a silastic implant.
It is done to make the breasts fuller and firmer but look natural and add more feminine vibrance.
A small opening is made underneath the breast to place the silastic implant.
It is usually done under Intravenous Sedation or General Anesthesia.
Cardio Pulmonary Clearance is needed prior to the procedure. Included here are: Chest X-Rays, Blood Tests
   and Certain Diagnostic Exams
It is done at our center and we usually give an overnight hotel accommodation to give comfort to the patient
   since there will be a follow-up check the next day.
It usually takes 2-3 hours for this procedure to be done.
Recovery period for this procedure is 7-10 days.
