About Botulinum Toxin Treatment
This is the injection of a neuromuscular toxin into specific muscles that inhibits the release of acetylcholine within
   the nerves located within the muscle which prevents contraction and decrease lines.
This is most commonly used for frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines. It can also be used to treat excessive
   underarm sweating.
Several injections are given with a very small needle into specific muscles, depending on the area to be treated.
By placing Botulinum Toxin Type A into different muscles, different effects can be achieved; including the neck and
   upper lip.
Results are seen in 2 - 3 days.
It lasts for 6 - 8 months .
It is done at our center and it is an out-patient procedure.
It usually takes 5 - 10 minutes for the procedure to be done.
After the treatment you can go back to work or do your daily routine activities.
